Important things to know before your Chardham Travel Package
Kedarnath (3,583m) and Badrinath (3,133m) are at high altitudes. Carry Diamox tablets, stay hydrated, avoid alcohol, and walk slowly. Inform your driver if you feel dizzy or breathless.
Warm woolens (even in summer evenings), rain jacket, comfortable trekking shoes, personal medicines, torch, power bank, and Aadhaar card. Pack light - you'll carry your bag during treks.
ATMs are limited beyond Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi. Carry enough cash (₹5,000-10,000) for pony charges, personal shopping, and emergencies. UPI works in some areas but not reliably.
All pilgrims must register on the Uttarakhand government portal (registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in) to receive an e-Pass. We help with this process during your booking.
Carry a medical fitness certificate, especially for senior citizens (60+). People with heart conditions or severe asthma should consult their doctor. The Kedarnath trek is physically demanding.
BSNL/Jio work best in remote areas. Airtel coverage is weak beyond Rishikesh. Download offline maps. Network is available at base towns but not during treks or at remote temple areas.
